This policy applies to information processed as a business, not to information we handle on behalf of our clients under a services agreement or data processing addendum. When we process personal data on behalf of a client, the client's privacy policy governs.

- Contact details such as name, business email, phone number, and company name submitted through our lead form or strategy-call booking flow.
- Project details, goals, and budget ranges you share during a discovery call or proposal exchange.
- Billing details if you become a client, including company address and tax identifiers.
- Messages you send to hello@emerald.digital or through our contact channels.
Information collected automatically
- Device and browser metadata including IP address, user agent, screen resolution, and referring URL.
- Product analytics events such as page views, scroll depth, and feature interactions captured through privacy-respecting analytics.
- Cookies and similar technologies used to maintain sessions, remember preferences, and measure marketing performance.
Information from partners
- Enrichment data from business information providers to help us qualify inbound inquiries.
- Authentication and attribution data from advertising platforms when you arrive via a tracked campaign.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@emerald.digital with a description of your request. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know categories of information we collect and share, the right to delete, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA.
9. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encrypted transport, least-privilege access controls, and vendor security reviews. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. International transfers
Emerald Digital operates from the United States, and your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than the one in which you reside. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or other recognized safeguards to protect cross-border transfers.
11. Children
Our services are directed to businesses and are not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us at privacy@emerald.digital and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. Material changes will be highlighted at the top of this page, and we will update the effective date below.
